Ibrāhīm al-Maḥbūbī, Burhān aš-Šarī‘a, umro oko 673/1274. godine, a ovaj komentar njegov unuk od kćerke ‘Ubaydullāh b. Mas‘ūd b. Maḥmūd b. Aḥmad b. ‘Ubaydullāh al-Maḥbūbī, poznatiji pod nadimkom Ṣadr aš-Šarī‘a aṯ-Ṯānī, umro poslije 747/1346. godine.
